Dale and Mary Jo Lang

50th Anniversary

Dale and Mary Jo Lang, of Watertown, S.D., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at their home, 1422 South Lake Drive, Watertown. No gifts please.

Hosts for the celebration will be their daughter, Kim Worthington of Post Falls and grandson Eric Worthington of Watertown.

The couple were married Nov. 10, 1961, in Sioux Falls. They have two children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Tony and Myrna Bevacqua

50th Anniversary

Tony and Myrna Bevacqua celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 5, 2011, at Splash in The Coeur d'Alene Resort. The party was attended by many family members and close friends.

Tony and Myrna were married on Nov. 4, 1961, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church located in East Keansburg, N.J.

The celebration was hosted by Tony and Myrna's children: Beth Whitney of Fort Collins, Color., Tony Bevacqua of Coeur d'Alene, Matt and Haley Bevacqua of Portland, Ore., and Al and Colleen Bevacqua of Rathdrum.

To celebrate this milestone, Tony and Myrna plan on taking a cruise to warmer weather during the winter months.

ENGAGEMENTS

Dougherty-Flamm

Bill and Jill Dougherty, of Dalton Gardens, announce the engagement of their daughter, Devlin Cate, to Russell Robert Flamm, son of Bart Flamm of Hayden and Julie Witters of Coeur d'Alene.

Devlin is a graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School, University of Tampa (Florida) and the University of Idaho. She is a Senior Tax Associate (CPA) with Moss Adams, LLP, in Spokane.

Russell is also a graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School and the University of Idaho. He is lead software engineer at Triple E Technologies, LLC, in Post Falls.

The couple are planning a July 21, 2012, wedding at Farragut State Park.

Kolano-Berheim

Virginia Hief of Auburn, Wash., and Gary Kolano of Sumner, Wash., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia Kolano to Troy Berheim, son of Kim and Chris Berheim of McCall.

The couple plan to wed in June 2012 in McCall.

Horton-Plante

Jim and Marsha Plante announce the marriage of their son, Kurtis Lee Plante, to Rebecca Leigh Horton, daughter of Ernie and Yvonne Horton of St. Maries.

Kurtis graduated from Post Falls High School in 2000 and works at Potlatch Corp. in St. Maries. Rebecca graduated from St. Maries High School in 2009 and she is currently attending North Idaho College. She works at Timber Realty in St. Maries as a real estate assistant.

The couple is planning a July wedding up the St. Joe River.

Torin Wayne Conner was born at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4, 2011, to Jennifer Howell and Brian Conner of Post Falls. He weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. Sister is Emma Conner. Maternal grandparents are Regina and Tom Briggs. Paternal grandparents are Debbie Yates, and Roger and Lynn Conner.

MILITARY

Army Pvt. Scott K. Mull has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

Mull is the son of Kari Mull of Post Falls. He is a 2011 graduate of Post Falls High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Joanna J. Porter graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Porter is the daughter of Kelly Porter of Spokane Valley and granddaughter of Beverly Noble of Dalton Gardens.

She is a 2010 graduate of John R. Rogers High School in Spokane.
