Semi tips over on I90

A semi-trailer traveling eastbound down Interstate 90  tipped over Saturday morning.  At approximately 8:30 a.m. rescue crews were called out to the scene.

The semi-trailer was found on its side in the median by mile marker 51 with fuel leaking out.  The Montana Highway Patrol and Riverside Towing and Repair out of DeBorgia arrived first to the wreak.  A St. Regis Volunteer Fire Department HAZ MAT crew and quick response unit were also called out.

In an effort to clean up the wreckage, crews unloaded produce from the semi, including fruit and fish. 

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time as is the condition of the driver.  As more information becomes available, be sure to check back with vp-mi.com
