KHS: Prove it, column writer

Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 13 years, 2 months AGO

This letter is in response to Cecilia Nolthenius's "My Turn" Nov. 9 submission.

I question many things that she wrote, but in particular I am requesting that she submit the letter sent to her from the Kootenai Humane Society telling her to "get lost." Her words, not mine.

Since she stated this in quotes, those words will be in that letter. She needs to prove it. Take it to The Press for publication and proof of the situation. If she doesn't, or if she says that it is lost or thrown away I, for one, will know that she is a liar as will the rest of the community. We will then be left with a situation in which she is libeling the KHS with her vicious and evil condemnation of a truly fine organization.

As far as her other comments, I will use her own words as they truly demonstrate her malicious attitude - what she writes "is a rather dubious or deliberate attempt to distort reality." One has to ask what her motive is.

I look forward to reading the letter in The Press in the very near future or an apology for all who work or volunteer at the KHS for her reprehensible comments.
