Three men charged in the Oct. 26 break-in and robbery of Gardner’s RV and Trailer Center pleaded not guilty Thursday morning before Flathead District Judge Katherine Curtis.

Jan Vondrich, 24, Kevin Everett, 22, and Kyle Egland, 22, each face one charge of felony burglary, while Vondrich and Everett also face a charge of felony theft and Egland faces a charge of felony accountability to theft.

According to charging documents, Vondrich and Egland first broke into campers and motor homes at the business and stole a couple of televisions. In a second trip, Vondrich and Everett stole 11 televisions, three DVD players and a stereo.

The total value of stolen items was more than $3,000, while a Gardner’s employee confirmed that, along with damage to the units, the total impact to the company was estimated at $20,000.

If convicted on all counts, Vondrich faces up to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000. He is currently being held at the Flathead County Detention Center, with bail set at $5,000.

Everett also faces charges of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs and criminal endangerment on a prior case. If convicted on all charges in both cases, he faces between one year and life in prison and a fine of up to $200,000.

In a hearing on the prior case, Everett stated he had filed new paperwork with the public defender’s office to have a new attorney assigned to him. His initial public defender on that case had been withdrawn because it was found he initially filed paperwork filled with nothing but zeroes.

He is being held at the Flathead County Detention Center, where his bond is set at $20,000.

Egland also has prior charges of felony theft and misdemeanor theft related to a mid-September incident in which he is accused of the theft of a rental car from the airport and the theft of a purse from another vehicle.

If convicted of all four charges, he faces up to 40 years and six months in prison and a fine of up to $151,500.

He is being held at the Flathead County Detention Center, where his combined bond is set at $50,000.
