Susan D. Ryan (Murphy), 60

Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 14 years, 8 months AGO
| November 18, 2011 9:00 PM

Sue Ryan passed from this world in the arms of the angels on Nov. 6, 2011. She has received her ultimate healing and has heard the words "Well done my good and faithful servant."

Her passion was her family and caring for others and she excelled at both. She always had a smile and a joke for everyone, and was always making cinnamon rolls to give to her co-workers and friends.

She graduated from NIC's nursing program and then worked for Dr. Pike & Geisen, Deaconess Hospital, Life Care Center and Spokane Community Mental Health.

Sue moved to Denver, Colo., to be close to her kids where she taught nursing at the Denver School of Nursing, The National American University and the Community College of Denver. Everywhere she went her co-workers loved her. Sue was always driving with the top down on her convertible and shopping for great deals at the thrift stores.

Sue will be forever missed by her children, DeAnna Johnson and Bill Ryan; grandchildren Joshua, AubreAnna and Charissa; sister and brother-in-law, Sandi and Lonnie White; sister Toni Trude; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins and many close friends.

She is having a great reunion in heaven with her parents, Pat and Kathy Murphy; and brothers Eddy, Steven and David.

Please join us for her memorial service from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at her sister's home, 14483 W. Riverview Drive, Post Falls, with an open house. For more information call (208) 755-4251.
