MOSES LAKE - A magnitude 4.6 earthquake briefly shook an area of northern Washington from a source about six miles northwest of Omak.
The quake occurred Friday at 5:09 a.m. and was centered at a depth of about 7 miles beneath the earth's surface, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network.
There have been no reports of earthquake-related damage near the epicenter or elsewhere in Washington, according to emergency officials.
Grant County dispatchers received just two emergency calls reporting the quake, said Kyle Foreman with Grant County Emergency Management.
Both callers were from the Grand Coulee area and Foreman said they each reported feeling their homes rocking slightly.
