Nadine Stapley Robison, of Post Falls, died at the age of 71 on Nov. 30, 2011, with her family at her side.

She was born Oct. 25, 1940, in Cedar City, Utah, to Elton and Elva Stapley. She attended Cedar City High School and Utah State University. She graduated with a degree in physical education and taught school in Tooele and Springville, Utah.

She married Marvin H. Robison on June 5, 1964, and their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served diligently. She was a Christ-like example to all those who knew her and a dedicated wife and mother. She was a wonderful homemaker and was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. She was happiest when serving her husband, children, family and friends.

She enjoyed reading (she had a subscription to the Readers Digest for 40 years), watching old movies, boating and fishing and playing games. She had a competitive nature and relished coming in first. She especially loved the holidays. Thanksgiving was a feast and there was always room for her homemade carrot pudding. Her favorite Christmas music soon followed played on the old 33 rpm records. Her home was always filled with delicious treats and goodies. Her baking and canning traditions will be carried on by her family.

She is survived by Marv, her husband of 47 years; her two sisters, LaRae Ballard and Sonja Young; brother Kendall Stapley; two daughters, three sons and their spouses; Leslie Cole, Casey and (Jenifer) Robison, Heidi and (Jeff) Cianciotto, Jordan and (Natalie) Robison, Travis and (Rose) Robison; and nine grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave., Post Falls. Funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1824 E. 16th Ave., Post Falls. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment following the service will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls.
