MOSES LAKE - A veterans benefits and services fair will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Grant County Fairgrounds commercial building.

The fair will highlight federal benefits and local community resources for veterans and their families. It will go from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The fair will be sponsored by the Grant County Commission Veterans Advisory Board, the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration and the Office of Rural Health.

"Representatives will be on site to support you with information and applications for services through local, state and federal agencies," said Work Source Central Basin's Sandi Watson.

According to Watson, fair participants will cover a wide range of issues important to veterans. She said employment agencies will be looking to hire veterans.
