A Coeur d'Alene man was busted in Oregon with 10 pounds of marijuana and other drugs, according to the Oregon State Police.
Seth A. Mitchell, 22, was arrested Thursday following a traffic stop north of Madras, Ore., and now faces multiple drug-related charges.
Just after noon that day a state police officer stopped a 2004 Ford F150 pickup, driven by Mitchell, for a traffic violation on Highway 97. Madras is 43 miles north of Bend, Ore.
Once he was pulled over, officers found oxycodone and hydrocodone, and he was arrested for two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
He was taken to Jefferson County Jail, in Oregon, where he remains in custody.
The pickup truck was seized and state police were given a search warrant as part of the investigation.
When police searched the pickup truck, they found the marijuana concealed inside. The estimated value of the pot was $25,000, state police said.
He also is being charged with unlawful possession, distribution and manufacture of a controlled substance-marijuana.
