Liberty quartet to perform Oct. 16

Liberty, a traditional southern gospel quartet, will perform at 6 p.m. Oct. 16 at Coeur d'Alene Church of the Nazarene, 4000 N. Fourth St.

The quartet is a ministry based in Boise and averages 50,000 to 70,000 miles a year on the road. Each year, it gives about 175 performances for church services, large conventions, rodeos and fairs.

"Whether or not you are a fan of southern gospel music, you will certainly enjoy the enthusiasm these men exhibit while serving and singing unto the Lord," according to a press release. "Their ministry bridges all generations, bringing enjoyment to traditional venues as well as contemporary."

It is free, but donations are accepted.
