Hellgate boys, girls sink Wolfpack in soccer

MISSOULA - Glacier managed to score two goals despite some adverse playing conditions Friday afternoon, but it wasn't quite enough as Missoula Hellgate sailed off with a 3-2 Western AA boys soccer victory.
"The field was very sloppy," Glacier coach Ryan O'Rourke said.
"There was an inch of standing water on parts of the field. That really disrupts the game."
Tanner Hart, on an assist by Josiah Bumgarner, gave Glacier a 1-1 tie just seven minutes into play.
Trailing 3-1, Matt Peters converted on a penalty kick at the 63rd minute mark to give the Wolfpack a chance.
It was the second meeting of the season for the two teams. The first ended in a 1-1 tie.
"Considering the circumstances, I'm very happy with the way we played," O'Rourke said.
"Especially in the middle of the field, but we had good efforts all the way around.
"Jake Lockwood and Matt Peters had great games. They moved the ball relatively well in the middle of the field."
