Mercier fuels Cardinal women's 2nd-half flurry

WOMEN'S SOCCER

COEUR d'ALENE - Aubree Mercier, formerly of Post Falls High, scored two of the ninth-ranked North Idaho Cardinals' five goals in the second half in a 7-1 nonconference win over the Coyotes at Eisenwinter Field.

Callie Martin had two assists and a goal for NIC (11-0), which hosts the Gonzaga club team on Sunday.

W. Wyoming vs. North Idaho, ppd.

COEUR d'ALENE - Friday's nonconference match between the North Idaho men and Western Wyoming of Rock Springs, Wyo., was postponed due to a scheduling conflict by the Mustangs, who thought the game was today.

The match has been rescheduled for today at 4 p.m. at Eisenwinter Field.
