Chiefs rally past Wheat Kings

SPOKANE - Dominik Uher scored the game-winner early in the third period as the Spokane Chiefs rallied from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Brandon Wheat Kings 4-3 on Wednesday night in a Western Hockey League game in front of 3,241 at the Spokane Arena.
Brandon opened the scoring 1:09 into the first period, but Brenden Kichton scored a power-play goal to even the score. Brandon scored a pair of power-play goals to open a 3-1 lead before Chiefs center Anthony Bardaro scored his team-leading eight goal and seventh power-play goal of the season to pull Spokane within 3-2 midway through the second period.
Darren Kramer stole the puck from Brandon goaltender Corbin Boes and evened the score at 3 late in the second period for Spokane (3-2-0-1), which remained unbeaten at home at 3-0.
Luke Lee-Knight had 20 saves for Spokane, which outshot Brandon 33-23.
Spokane hosts Prince Albert on Friday.
The Saskatoon Blades were selected to host the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the WHL announced following a Board of Governors meeting.
