Bigfork's Olson divisional run champion

PABLO - Chelsea Olson, who has run in the shadow of Makena Morley all season, had her moment to shine on Saturday at the Western B divisional.
The junior from Bigfork won her first high school cross country meet with a solid time of 20 minutes, 1 second.
"That's pretty cool," Bigfork coach Sue Loeffler said of Olson.
"She ran really well, competitive. It was cool to see her win it."
Morley, who has dominated the cross country scene for all classes this fall, was held out of this event. The freshman sensation experienced soreness in both legs last week.
"She will be fine," Loeffler said for this week's state meet.
"Sometimes it's OK for her to get a rest, especially as much as she runs. It's nothing real serious."
Eureka had two individuals finish in the top 10. Alexandra Bartmess was seventh and Jon Weaver was ninth.
Missoula will host the state meet for all classes on Saturday.
