Othello nearly defeats Prosser Lady Mustangs

OTHELLO - The Othello Huskies almost pulled off their second league match of the season, but were turned back in five sets (12-25,25,22, 9-25, 25-15,15-10) by the Lady Mustangs Tuesday.

Becca Niemeyer led the attack for Prosser with 14 kills and 15 digs.

Karissa Flores add nine kills and six blocks.

The Mustangs moved into fourth place in the CWAC standing.

Othello remains in eighth place and in need of a couple of wins in its last three games to make the district playoffs.
