Police tell motorcyclist that child needs helmet

Saturday evening, a motorcycle driver was reported for driving at a high rate of speed on Airport Road with a young child not wearing a helmet sitting on the tank in front of him. The Kalispell Police Department made contact with the man and advised him the child needs a helmet until age 18.
Earlier in the day, a caller on Glenwood Drive told police that she thinks her ex-roommate tried to break in sometime in the last two days.
A woman reported her ex-husband's wife for screaming profanities at her in front of kids and other adults at a football game. Police contacted the woman and advised her that the language she used was inappropriate in public.
Saturday night, a caller on Yellowstone Street reported someone ringing the doorbell and running off.
Shortly after midnight Sunday, a man arrived home on Fifth Avenue West to find two females looking into his roommate's vehicle with a flashlight. Police were unable to locate them.
At 11 a.m. Sunday, a caller on First Avenue East said three teenagers were on the roof around 2 a.m. The caller said it happened Friday night as well.
A caller on U.S. 93 reported two males in a black Subaru who appeared to be smoking some kind of drug.
Around noon, a caller reported two drunk and disorderly males on Idaho Street. The caller said they were cursing and running into things.
A caller at a business on North Main Street reported a person for possibly trying to use a stolen credit card, leaving without paying for an ear piercing and possibly stealing jewelry.
Saturday morning, the Whitefish Police Department responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Central Avenue.
A caller on Scalplock Mountain drive reported hearing shots fired to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office at 3:49 a.m. Sunday.
