Evelyn Jane (Meneely) Perry, 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, in Coeur d'Alene. She was born Nov. 30, 1936, in Moscow.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, James Frank (Shorty) Meneely and Evelyn Faye (Collins) Meneely, both of the Moscow area.
She is survived by one brother, Jim Meneely (Jan) of Kootenai; three daughters, Pam Scott (Tim) of Coeur d'Alene, Jaylin Chapman (Lee) of Sandpoint, Bonnie Jacobs (Dale) of Cut Bank, Mont.; one son, Jim Collins (Diane) of Rhode Island; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Mom loved to sew, crochet, read and garden. But her real passion was sewing baby blankets for Kootenai Medical Center, CASA and family. We will all miss her deeply, especially her contagious laugh. Evelyn was a beautiful person inside and out and we were blessed to have had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at Lake City Community Church, 6000 N. Ramsey Road, Coeur d'Alene. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. then funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at Westmond Cemetery in Cocolalla.
