Mary Gallegos - beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Oct. 20, 2011, in Hayden Lake. She was born Dec. 5, 1924, in Los Angeles, Calif. Mary met the love of her life Manuel Gallegos and they were married on July 24, 1948. 

Mom was an accomplished artist, had a great love for music, was an avid reader and also enjoyed gardening. She and Dad cherished their many years of traveling together.

Although Mom was a woman of many accomplishments, who touched many lives, her true joy was her husband of almost 60 years, Manuel Gallegos; her children, Catherine Cralley (Bruce), Susan Day, Laurie Thompson (Alvin), Paul Gallegos (Cindy) and Randy Gallegos (Linda); her sister, Emily Black; her brother, Gilbert Sanchez; as well as 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She will be missed until the day we reunite in our heavenly home in the presence of the Lord.
