Mansfields post low Harvest Open score

ROYAL CITY - Mike and Cydney Mansfield combined for a 90 to win the Harvest Open Golf Tournament at the Royal Golf Course on Oct. 8.

The Harvest Open was a mixed Chapman event in which man/woman teams alternated shots from first tee to final putt. Doug and Von Pegram shot 65 to lead the net scoring.

"David (James) did a great job of preparing the tournament," said on-site director Andrew Perkins. "Paula (Boyce) did a fantastic job of coordinating the food and the carts. The Royal Register came through again and donated more than $500 in prizes for the raffles."

Closest-to-pin (KP), hole No. 2, male - Dan Wilber, 18-11.

KP No. 7/16, male - Don Brown, 12-0.

KP No. 11, male - Jim Allcock, 2-2.

KP No. 11, female - Carrol Storkel, 16-2.

KP in 2, No. 8/17, Joy Chrismer, 14 inches.

Closest put, No. 6, male - Joe Perkins, ? inch.

Closest putt, No. 6, female - Carrol Storkel, 10 inches.

Long drive No. 10, male - Roy Williams

Long drive No. 10, female - Patty LaRosee.

Combined long drive, No. 5 - Joe Kirkowski and Patt LaRosee.

Special prizes:

50/50 cash prize - Joy Chrismer, $232.50.

Couer d 'Alene Lake Cruise - Donna Rexius.

St. Joe River Cruise for 2 - Mary Allcock.
