A stolen vehicle case drew a response from both Kootenai County deputies and Post Falls Police to the eastbound Huetter rest stop on Interstate 90 this morning around 9:10 a.m.
The driver, Billy Jo Dalager, 18, Spokane, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, a 2005 Kia Spectra what was stolen out of Coeur d'Alene on Oct. 18, and three counts of drug paraphernalia.
A 16-year-old male from Kalispell, Mont., was also arrested for possession of marijuana. The two were arrested without incident.
The vehicle was a "BOSS hit" along I-90. The system reads the license plates of reported stolen vehicles as they pass camera stations and alerts police dispatchers.
