Kent 'Lynn' Freer, 82

Kent "Lynn" Freer, 82, of Coeur d'Alene, passed away Oct. 21, 2011. He was born May 7, 1929, in Declo to Boyd and Mary (Osterhout) Freer.

He grew up in Declo, along with his older brother Norman. In his early 20s he decided to travel the states. On Aug. 6, 1954, he married Nora Jeanotte in Nevada. They were married for 57 years.

They settled in North Idaho in 1969 where he worked at the Lucky Friday Mine in Mullan until retiring in 1987. He was known to be an outstanding miner.

They moved to Cataldo in 1976. Lynn enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, fishing and many other outdoor activities. He also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family. He was a very caring family man. In 1991, Lynn and Nora moved to Coeur d'Alene.

He is proceeded in death by his grandson, Mylze; his parents, Boyd and Mary Freer; and brother Norman.

Survivors include his wife, Nora; and three children, Butch, Len and daughter Tina. Along with his grandchildren, Logan, Emily and Creed.

Lynn will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
