MOSES LAKE - Two boys, ages 3 and 4, are safe at home and one man has been arrested after an early Friday, Oct. 21, incident authorities describe as a kidnapping.

According to Grant County Undersheriff Dave Ponozzo, Shane J. Soares, 30, was taken to the Grant County Jail on suspicion of two counts second-degree kidnapping.

The alleged kidnap was the second time deputies dealt with Soares that night. At 11 p.m. on Thursday deputies were called for a "man screaming and yelling" in the area of the suspected abduction, Arlington Drive and Lowry Street.

Among other things, Soares told deputies his home was infested with demons.

The second call came at 12:15 a.m. Friday from Celena Robinson, who referred to Soares as her roommate. She said Soares had just abducted her two sons.

Soares was found with the two boys at Arlington near Patton. Soares ran with the two boys but deputies caught him after a brief foot chase.
