Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application received by Grant County on October 11, 2011, and a SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on June 23, 2011 from Northwest MedStar (Designated Contact: Jerry Focht, Northwest MedStar, PO Box 11005, Spokane, WA 99212, 509-532-7962), were found to be technically complete on October 21, 2011. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: This proposal involves the addition of a 2,000-gallon portable/mobile fuel tank (for helicopter re-fueling) to an air medical transport operations base at an existing emergency facility on an 11.32-acre parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. A Conditional Use Permit (#11-5525) was issued for the air medical transport operations base on March 10, 2011. ZONING: Agriculture. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: Building Permit. STUDIES SUBMITTED: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 11821 Stratford Road NE, Moses Lake, WA. It is located approximately 8 miles north of Moses Lake, WA, near the intersection of Stratford Road NE and Road 12 NE, and in the NW quarter of Section 2, Township 20 North, Range 28 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #17-0905-002).
