Ruby Gladding, 95

Ruby Gladding, 95, longtime resident of Coeur d'Alene, passed away, Saturday, Oct. 28, 2011. She was born in Backus, Minn., on Nov. 16, 1915, to Eugene and Florence Hurd.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Gladding; one daughter, Barbara Joy Gladding; five brothers, Eugene, Donald Robert, Lawrence Eugene Hurd and Melvin Howe; four sisters, Ellen, Dorothy, Louise Hurd and Lola Greene.
She is survived by three daughters, Lavonda Crothers of Pacific Beach, Wash., Patty Bush of Spokane, Gail Franson of Redmond, Ore.; and one sister, Velma McDonald, of Coeur d'Alene. She has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene, on Fourth Street.
Donations may be made to Hospice on Prairie Avenue in Ruby's name.
