Jhonny Peralta and Ryan Raburn hit back-to-back homers in the second as the visiting Detroit Tigers routed the Chicago White Sox 14-4 on Monday night.

Rays 5, Orioles 2: B.J. Upton doubled twice to lead Tampa Bay at Baltimore.

Athletics 6, Angels 3: Josh Willingham hit his 25th home run to help host Oakland Athletics past Los Angeles.

• NATIONAL LEAGUE

Nationals 3, Mets 2: Steve Lombardozzi drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh to lift Washington at New York.

Cubs 12, Reds 8: Starlin Castro homered and drove in three to lead Chicago at Cincinnati.

Astros 5, Phillies 1: Carlos Lee hit a two-run homer to help host Houston beat Philadelphia.

Pirates 6, Cardinals 5: Pedro Ciriaco hit a tiebreaking double to cap a three-run rally in the eighth and host Pittsburgh beat St. Louis.

Marlins 5, Braves 4, 12 inn.: Mike Stanton's pinch-hit single in the 12th lifted Florida at Atlanta.

Giants 8, Padres 3: Carlos Beltran, Cody Ross and Pablo Sandoval homered and host San Francisco beat San Diego.

Diamondbacks 7, Dodgers 2: Gerardo Parra had four RBIs and visiting Arizona beat Los Angeles.

• Manny Ramirez arrested: Former World Series MVP Manny Ramirez was arrested Monday after a domestic dispute at his Weston., Fla., home and charged with battery, police said.

Ramirez, 39, and his wife were arguing and he slapped her face, causing her to hit her head on their bed's headboard.
