Reduced prices for winter season passes

at Whitefish Mountain Resort last through Sept. 30. Resort staff

will be hosting pass sales at locations in town for the next two

weeks.

The sale will be at Montana Coffee

Traders downtown Sept. 16-17 and 23-24, and at The Wave fitness

center Sept. 27-30.

Early-season pass prices are $560 for

adults, $460 for seniors, $315 for teens (13-18), $155 for juniors,

$460 for college students and free for children six and under. The

adult pass is $10 more than last year and $25 more compared to 2009

prices.

The adult price bumps up to $845 after

Sept. 30, then $1,085 after Nov. 15.

Day lift tickets for adults are priced

this season at $66, or $60 for a two-day ticket.

Ski lockers in the Base Lodge are

available for $225 and in the village for $150.

Parking passes for the Birch and Cedar

lots are $180 and $50. The Cedar lot pass is valid Friday through

Sunday and during holidays. The lot is free Monday through

Thursday. There are only 35 Birch Lot passes available.

Flathead Sled Dog Days is gearing up for its fifth annual dog sled race Jan. 6-8. Race organizers have partnered with the Whitefish Winter Carnival to become part of their festivities next month.
