Missoula Hellgate scored two goals in the first 10 minutes and Glacier was unable to recover, falling 5-2 in Western AA soccer action on Thursday at Glacier.

"We came out flat and then we started moving the moving the ball a little better later, but we just didn't play like we needed to play if we want to compete in this league," said Glacier coach Paul Holmgren.

Glacier (0-4-1) scored its first goal in the 23rd minute on a kick by Nicole Heavirland. The Wolfpack scored again in the 40th minute when Anna Deleray found the back of the net after an assist by Chantal Gustine.

By then, Hellgate was ahead 3-2. The Knights added two more goals in the second half, both by Sarah Willstein.

Holmgren said the score was not indicative of his team's potential.

"We're a better team and I think we'll get it turned around."
