Ms. Maass, here's an idea for you - you tend to your back yard and we'll tend to ours! I believe most people would and should protect their family by whatever means from threat, even from a "protected grizzly bear." Jeremy Hill did what he thought correct at the time. Would you feel better if he had shot in the air and it still would have gotten one of his children? I'm sure there are issues in New York that you can focus your energy on.
