Zach Havens set the fast time, won the heat race and then capped off his perfect evening in the Hornet division by drawing the checkered flag in the 50-lap main event last Saturday at Montana Raceway Park.

Josh Brinton and Keith Shepard both took home trophies by winning their respective dashes. Briton also won the B heat.

The Bandoleros completed their season as Brock Denney was the champion in the Young Gun division with Bailey Erickson taking second. In the Bandit division it was Bryce Denney claiming his first title. Todd Holleman was second, only 15 points behind.

Brock Denney swept the action on the Bandoleros final night by winning the dash, heat and main races. Bryce Denney was second in all three events.

There were three different winners in Legends. Darrell Buckingham took home a trophy in the dash, Devin Clayton who was celebrating his 16th birthday, won a heat race and Dave Daughtry was first in the main event.

That pattern - three different winners - held true in the Super Stocks. Adam Kinkle drew the checkered flag in the dash, Scott Lee was the man out front to claim the victory in the heat race and Brandon Sickler won the main event.

The Hobby Stocks wrapped up their season with Ray Young winning the dash and B heat. Casey Brandt won the A heat and main event, which had 14 cars.

The 2011 race season ends Saturday night with Legends, Bombers, Hobby Stock, Super Stocks and Hornets on the high-banked, quarter-mile oval.

The pit gate will open at 2 p.m. and the main gates at 5:30. Qualifying starts at 6 with racing at 7.

There will be a practice session for drivers on Friday from 5-8 p.m.

The 21st Annual Montana Awards Banquet is scheduled for Oct. 15 at the Hilton Garden Inn. Tickets are on sale at the track office or can be purchased online at www.montanaracewaypark.com. Tickets are $33.
