Homecoming parade route shortened

Construction in downtown will cause a
shift in the Whitefish High School homecoming parade route on Sept.
30.
The parade will leave the north parking
lot of the high school, travel down Second Street to Kalispell
Avenue and turn left. It will then travel two blocks to Fourth
Street before turning left and returning to the north parking
lot.
The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. and is
open to anyone. Entry forms are available on the high school’s
website at http://whs.wsd44.org/. The deadline for entries is
Monday, Sept. 26 at noon.

The week from Sept. 25 to Oct. 1 is
full of homecoming activities for both students and community
members.
A business window decorating
competition is planned during the week. The goal is to see windows
decked in green and gold, and marquees filled with messages in
support of the Bulldogs. For information contact Lonnie

• Homecoming Bon Fire in the high
school parking lot, 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26.
• Soccer versus Polson on Tuesday,
Sept. 27 at Smith Field. Girls begin at 3 p.m. followed by boys at
5 p.m.
• Football plays Polson Friday, Sept.
30 at 7 p.m. at the Dawg Pound.

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue
