OROFINO - Sophomore quarterback Luke Feasline scored on a 4-yard run with 3:39 remaining as the St. Maries Lumberjacks beat the Orofino Maniacs 22-21 in a nonleague game Friday night.

"For two weeks in a row, our kids battled, battled and battled," St. Maries coach Craig Tefft said. "Tonight, we made the plays in the end to win it."

Feasline completed 15 of 22 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns for St. Maries (1-4), which travels to Kellogg next Friday for an Intermountain League game.

PLUMMER - Jeremy Stivers carried the ball 10 times for 145 yards as the Knights beat the Mustangs in a nonleague game.

"We were a little slow starting tonight after that loss to Wallace last week," Lakeside coach Ron Miller said. "Once we got rolling on offense, we moved the ball well."

Lakeside, which was scheduled for a bye this week, added the game against Northport after Mullan canceled their North Star League game on Oct. 14.

Garth Dole had 103 yards rushing for Lakeside (4-1), which hosts Clark Fork on Friday.
