85 Wonderful Years

Marcella was at home; surrounded by family when she followed her journey joining her husband in the Heaven's above on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011. She was the most extraordinary Mother, Grandmother and friend anyone could dream of having. Her continued involvement with her children and grandchildren was paramount. She represented love in the most purest form and gave unconditionally to everyone, always. She touched so many people near and far and we have all been blessed to have had Marcella in our lives. Missing her is a significant understatement; however, we will always have a lifetime of cherished memories and the love she gave.

Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dawes.

She is survived by her three children, Gary Dawes (Post Falls), Sonja Hollis (Livermore, Calif.) and Sharon Celentano (Post Falls) and spouses; her brother, Calvin Burrus Jr. (Buxton, N.C.); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Marcella's family would like to thank her personal physician of 30 years and many other attending physicians and medical staff for their wonderful care. Also, we greatly thank Hospice of North Idaho for the outstanding care and attentiveness they provided to her and her family.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls. English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, has been entrusted to handle final the arrangements.
