No spring fair, but yes to spaceburgers

Moses Lake – There will not be a spring fair this year at the Grant County Fairgrounds, but that's not stopping the Moses Lake Lioness Club from opening is Spaceburger booth and continue to raise funds for cancer research.
The Lioness Club will operate the spaceburger booth at the Grant County Fairgrounds from Friday, April 20, through Sunday, April 22. There will be no admission fee to get into the fairgrounds.
In year's past the Lioness Club has opened the Spaceburger booth for Spring Fair. All proceeds raised during this weekend were divided amongst the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation and the American Cancer Society (Relay for Life).
“The Lioness Club has decided to go ahead and open up the booth so that we can continue this tradition,” member Michelle Boetger said. The booth will open on Friday at 3 p.m. and stay open until 9 p.m. On Saturday the booth will open at 9 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. The Sunday hours will be 11a.m.-3 p.m.
“Please plan on stopping out and supporting the Lioness Club of Moses Lake by purchasing a Spaceburger or two,” Boetger said. “Your next chance to buy Spaceburgers will be at the Grant County Fair in August.”
The purpose of the Lioness Club of Moses Lake is to foster a spirit of interest, friendliness and helpfulness among its members and to cooperate with the Moses Lake Lions Club in their philanthropic projects.
The Lioness Club of Moses Lake is a non-profit organization with ongoing projects such as scholarships and numerous other donations given to the local community, all funded by the club’s efforts at the Spaceburger Booth at the Grant County Fair. Many individuals, groups & community projects have benefited from the efforts of the Lioness Club of Moses Lake
