From left, Firefighters Cole Williams, Captain Wayne Evert, and Josh Cox work to extract Tyler Fister from an entanglement obstacle in a firefighter mayday exercise on Thursday evening, April 5, at the Evergreen Fire Department. The firefighters have to do a wall breach, where they use an ax to cut through dry wall and stud beams, get through a confined space obstacle, and go over an collapse wall obstacle before they reach the firefighter in trouble. They must then extract the drag the downed man from the entanglement obstacle and drag him back through the first three obstacles.
