Grant County kids hop into Easter with egg hunts

MOSES LAKE - It's time for kids to grab a basket and make like the Easter Bunny as they prowl for hidden eggs on Saturday.

No matter where you are in Grant County, there's an egg hunt sure to keep your kids busy.

MOSES LAKE

The Moses Lake Lions Club hosts a free Easter Egg Hunt starting noon Saturday in McCosh Park.

The hunt features 450 dozen real eggs donated by Willamette Egg Farms and 150 dozen plastic eggs filled with candy and tickets for prizes.

There are hunts for different age groups, including a hunt for children with health challenges who can be assisted by their parents.

The Easter Bunny will be present to take photos with kids.

EPHRATA

Ephrata's Teen Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt begins at dusk Friday at Lions Park. Participants should bring bags for goodies and a flashlight.

Ephrata's community egg hunt is 1 p.m. Saturday at Lions Park.

GEORGE

The Georgettes hold an Easter Egg Hunt at 9 a.m. Saturday at George Community Hall, 403 W. Montmorency Boulevard.

The Georgettes also hold a bake sale fundraiser Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. at the hall.

GRAND COULEE DAM

The Lions Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt is 11 a.m. Saturday at Middle School Field in Grand Coulee.

MARDON RESORT

MarDon Resort's Easter egg hunt is 10 a.m. Saturday at MarDon Resort, 8198 Highway 262 NE., Othello.

Children are advised to arrive 15 minutes early for the chance to hunt more than 250 dozen eggs hidden throughout the resort.
