Alfred (Al) Robinson, of Harrison, died at home April 3, 2012. He was born Feb. 16, 1925, in Los Angeles, Calif.

He retired after a 26-year career with Cal Trans in Redding, Calif. He moved to Carlin Bay in 2004 to further pursue his lifelong love of fishing. He quickly made many new friends in the community and became known for his willingness to design, build or fix any projects anyone needed.

He leaves his wife, Dolly; four sons; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way Hayden, ID 83835.

Yates Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
