MOSES LAKE - The Vikings are seeking to end their three-game losing streak when the team hosts Blue Mountain Community College in doubleheader action Saturday.

Big Bend Community College (BBCC) last win came at home against Wenatchee Valley Community College (WVCC) in the first game of a twin bill when the Vikings beat the Knights 12-4 April 1. BBCC lost the second game 12-3.

Neither team put a run on the board in the first two innings. BBCC scored one in the top of the third to go up 1-0. WVCC got a run back in the bottom of the inning to tie the game 1-1.

The Vikings brought a runner across the plate to regain the lead in the top of the fourth, 2-1. The Knights blew the game open with seven runs in the bottom of the fifth to race out front 8-2. BBCC got one back in the top of the sixth, but a four run seventh inning for the WVCC sealed the deal on a 12-3 victory.

Jacob Daniels took the loss for the Vikings.
