Tigers clobber Red Sox

Prince Fielder hit his first two home runs with the Detroit Tigers and Miguel Cabrera added a pair of his own in a 10-0 rout of the visiting Boston Red Sox on Saturday.

Rays 8, Yankees 6: At St. Petersburg, Fla., Luke Scott had three hits and drove in three runs and Tampa Bay beat New York.

Orioles 8, Twins 2: Tommy Hunter took a four-hitter into the eighth inning, Nick Markakis went 3 for 4 with a homer and host Baltimore cruised past Minnesota.

Blue Jays 7, Indians 4, 12 inn.: Rajai Davis hit a two-run double in the 12th inning, Toronto rallied for the second straight game against Cleveland's bullpen and the visiting Blue Jays beat the Indians.

Royals 6, Angels 3: At Anaheim, Calif., Luke Hochevar took a shutout into the seventh inning and Kansas City got solo homers from Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas against Dan Haren in a victory over Los Angeles.

White Sox 4, Rangers 3: At Arlington, Texas, Alex Rios led off the ninth inning with a home run and Chicago got its first win for new manager Robin Ventura, beating two-time defending American League champion Texas.

* NATIONAL LEAGUE

Diamondbacks 5, Giants 4: At Phoenix, Aaron Hill hit two homers, Chris Young had a pair of run-scoring doubles and Arizona beat San Francisco.

Astros 7, Rockies 3: J.D. Martinez homered and drove in three runs and Houston, the National League's youngest team, beat baseball's oldest player, 49-year-old starting pitcher Jamie Moyer, and visiting Colorado.

Nationals 7, Cubs 4: Adam LaRoche homered and matched a career-high with four hits, and Washington again rallied late against Kerry Wood and Carlos Marmol, scoring five runs in the eighth to win at Chicago.

Dodgers 6, Padres 5, 11 inn.: Dee Gordon's RBI single in the 11th lifted Los Angeles at San Diego.

Mets 4, Braves 2: Lucas Duda homered twice and became the first player to take advantage of the pulled-in fences at Citi Field, leading R.A. Dickey and New York past visiting Atlanta.

Brewers 6, Cardinals 0: Corey Hart homered twice, Zack Greinke pitched three-hit ball for seven innings and Milwaukee beat visiting St. Louis.

Marlins 8, Reds 3: Giancarlo Stanton had three hits and three RBIs to lift Miami at Cincinnati.

Pirates 2, Phillies 1, 10 inn.: Alex Presley singled home Mike McKenry with two outs in the bottom of the 10th to lift Pittsburgh past visiting Philadelphia.
