Ketron, a senior from Lake City High, allowed four hits and struck out six in the Blue Hawks’ 2-1 win over Jamestown College on March 31 and was named a Dakota Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Bauman, a sophomore from Post Falls High, finished second in the hammer throw with a toss of 158 feet, 9 inches, moving her into ninth in the history of the academy. Her throw of 139 feet in the discus placed her third among collegiate competitors.

Shea Vucinich

Vucinich, from Coeur d’Alene High and Washington State, had a three-run single in his only at-bat during spring training with the Milwaukee Brewers, helping the team to a 9-4 win on March 30. Vucinich had two runs scored and two RBIs on two walks for the Manatees in an 11-4 win over Daytona Beach in Melbourne, Fla., on Thursday. Brevard County is a Class-A Advanced Florida State League team.
