ROMNEY: An enemy of the people
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 13 years, 11 months AGO
When asked by a female in his audience, “Where should the millions of women who depend on Planned Parenthood go for their health care after you destroy this program?” Willard Mitt Romney gave one of his usual cold-blooded answers to the question. Willard’s response was, “Well they can go anywhere they like. This is a free society and I’d say the federal government should not tax these people here to pay for Planned Parenthood. No, we are going to stop that!”
Then why is it, Willard, that I am taxed to subsidize farmers, oil companies, bail out bankers who made huge blunders and provide public defenders for the poor who cannot pay? Well, dear Mr. Glacier Heart, I’ll tell you why! Our Founding Fathers (those you tout so often) wanted to provide for the common good.
When Queen Marie Antoinette was told her people were starving and had no bread, she famously said, “Well then, let them eat cake.” Romney is as far removed from the average American as Queen Marie was and he may even be a direct descendant.
I personally know a woman who was left by her husband with two small children, works every day without benefits, and the only form of health care she has is Planned Parenthood. Willard was a supporter of Planned Parenthood when he wore his “other face” while he was governor of Massachusetts.
This man has no core and he has no heart. I truly fear for this country should he get within 10 feet of the presidency. He will say anything and support any cause (even if he was against it two minutes ago) to get elected. He likes to fire people and he believes corporations are people. His etch-a-sketch plan is not going to work, at least not for the women of this country. We will not forget that he is an enemy of women.
