EPHRATA - An Ephrata woman was reportedly injured when her vehicle left the road and rolled on state Route 282, about three miles east of Ephrata.

Ericka Villa, 23, was driving a 2002 Cadillac Escalade east on SR 282 at about 11:45 a.m. Monday, when the vehicle left the road to the right. A Washington State Patrol spokesperson stated Villa apparently over-corrected and the SUV rolled, coming to rest on the passenger side off the highway.

One lane of the highway was closed while emergency crews extracted Villa from the vehicle and transported her by ambulance to Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata with unknown injuries.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating the exact cause of the crash and charges are reportedly anticipated.
