E. Joline Jones, 79

E. Joline Jones, 79, passed away at North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital in Post Falls on April 10, 2012.

Joline was born in Grangeville on June 10, 1932, to Joe and Eula Reed Chase. Joline spent her early childhood in southern Idaho with her parents and three sisters. While she was in high school the family moved to the middle fork of the Clearwater River, east of Kooskia. Joline attended Kooskia High School and graduated as the valedictorian of the class of 1950.

Joline married Ken Jones on Oct. 11, 1954, in Asotin, Wash. Joline was a homemaker who appreciated gardening, knitting, crocheting and taking long walks. She and Ken enjoyed hunting and fishing together; and Joline was a great shot. After Ken’s retirement in 1989 they settled in Hayden where she resided until her passing.

She is survived by her son, James and his wife Cindy Jones of Billings, Mont.; daughter Marie and her husband Roy Rambo of Athol; two grandchildren, Kyle and Heather; and two sisters, Mary Reynolds and Catherine Denning.

Joline was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Jones, in 1998; as well as her parents; one sister, Faye Palmer and two grandchildren.
