“There are six conference rooms at city hall, and I never get them straight, so I thought a great way to do it, was to name one of them after Ron Edinger because of all his service to the city and our community, which is vast,” Gookin said. “So, I talked to Nancy and asked if it would be okay with me dedicating a conference room after Ron, and she's like, 'oh, absolutely.’”

The Coeur d’Alene Design Review Commission (DRC) unanimously approved the design of a new five-story,173-room Hilton Dual Brand Hotel during its noon meeting yesterday.
