Steven Anthony Holden, 63, beloved son, brother, cousin, uncle, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many passed away suddenly at his home. He was born March 10, 1949 Covington, Kentucky, died March 28, 2012 Moses Lake, Washington. Memorial services were at Moses Lake Alliance Church April 4.
Steven was a long time resident of Moses Lake. He spent 4 years in Germany as a child, was preceded in death by his mother Ann in 1961 in Clovis, New Mexico. Steven received the Lord as his Saviour in his youth. His work ethics, love for people, many acts of kindness, and his general attitude in life reflected his love for God. He helped many people in their time of need with no expectations in return. He graduated from North Central High School in Spokane in 1967. Steven was a Navy Vietnam Era Veteran Electricians Mate serving on the USS Forrestal and USS Hornet. Steven worked for Job Core for over 20 years. He also did construction and had a security service. He loved riding motor cycles and going to drag races. Steven is survived by his wife Lee, parents Vernon and Gerri Holden, 5 sisters Terry, Tricia, Jenny, Linda, and Sherri, 1 brother Kenneth, daughter Shannon, 3 granddaughters, Paige, Sadie and Mattie, aunts, an uncle, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He loved to play jokes on people and had a zest for life. Steven was loved and will be greatly missed. This is not goodbye. We'll see you later Steven.
