C-Falls wrestlers do well in Butte

A group of 14 Columbia Falls Little Guy wrestlers competed in the Smith McCarthy Freestyle/Greco Tournament in Butte on Saturday and Sunday, April 14-15.
Teams with 15 or less wrestlers entered as a small team. Columbia Falls took second as a small team in Freestyle on Saturday, missing first place by three points.
They took first place as a small team in Greco on Sunday, scoring more points than the first-place medium and large teams.
This is the first team trophy brought home by Columbia Falls in the past three years that they’ve sent a team to the tournament. The team is now gearing up for the State Freestyle/Greco tournament at the Majestic Valley Arena on April 28 and 29 .
