BOISE (AP) — The latest campaign finance reports show U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador has raised more money this year than any other Idaho congressional candidate.
The freshman Republican from Idaho's 1st Congressional District has tapped a mix of individual donors and political action committees to raise $115,000 during the first quarter of 2012.
That gives him a total of $532,000 raised during the election cycle.
Democrat challenger and former NFL player Jimmy Farris lags far behind, with just $14,000 raised in the first quarter of 2012 and $26,000 overall.
Seven-term GOP Rep. Mike Simpson secured $107,000 in donations in the quarter, pulling in $65,000 from PACs for his 2nd district campaign.
Simpson's top Democratic challenger Nicole LeFavour trails Simpson with nearly $59,000. Reports show she raised the money in 12 days in March.
