EPHRATA - Construction crews moved onto Division Street as part of a project to replace roads and water pipes in the city.

The fourth phase of the project extends from Third Street Southwest to Seventh Street Northwest and from Basin Street to the Columbia Basin Project canal.

City Administrator Wes Crago expected the crews to be working on Division Street for the next two weeks. The construction will close the area to general traffic. If people with special needs have to get through the construction area, they can contact the site supervisor for permission.

Crews from Chinook Winds, the construction company handling the project, work from Monday until Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., according to the city.

For more information, contact the city at 509-754-4601.
