PULLMAN- The Huskies Jorge Campos recorded his 16th goal of the season with 10 seconds remaining in overtime as Othello won a non-league match on the road against the Greyhounds.

"We  beat Pullman  2-0 about a month ago, but it was a different story this time around," coach Bernie Garza said. "They are a better team and have improved a lot on their passing and overall team play."

The Huskies got on the board first with a goal by Miguel Penaloza (Enrique Romero) two minutes before the half to go up 1-0. Campos first goal a minute later off a penalty kick made it 2-0 at intermission.

"We had a big time run right before half as Enrique made a nice through pass to Miguel  for the first goal at the 38 minute-mark," Garza said. "Then a minute later, Jorge made a nice run down the center of the field and beat two players inside the 18 yard box. But a third player came from behind to tackle him.  Jorge blasted a shot to the lower left corner for the two goal lead just before half time."

It was 20 minutes in to the second half of action before the first goal was recorded by Pullman's Indra Suardana to close the gap to 2-1. The Greyhounds struck again at the 70th minute-mark on a goal by Matt Konkelto tie the game 2-2. Neither team scored over the last 10 minutes of regulation play and the match went to a five minute overtime period. And with 10 seconds left in the extra period, Campos scored from 15 yards out to ice the game 3-2 for Othello.

"Heading into overtime I changed the line up a little to put Enrique at forward and Freddie Agustin at midfield and that paid off as they were man marking Enrique because of his speed," Garza said. "That left Jorge wide open and it was just him and the goalie and he hit  rocket of a shot sending the ball low and hard for the game winner."

Othello out shot Pullman 15 to 10 on the match. Keeper Martel Saucedo had six saves for the Huskies.

The victory over Pullman runs the Huskies to 11-0 overall. Othello is 4-0 in league play. The Huskies are back on the pitch Thursday as they travel to Toppenish for a showdown with the Wildcats that could very well decide the CWAC title.
