ROYAL CITY - The dates of April 20-22 have been established as the city-wide cleanup days for Royal City.
The city will set up three large dumpsters to collect refuse. Once they are filled, late-comers will have to go to the landfill, according to Mayor Mike Stark.
The dumpsters will be located at the city's wastewater treatment plant. It is located at the East end of Camelia Street NW.
According to Mayor Mike Stark, the city will also be accepting yard waste during the spring cleanup. It may be delivered to the wastewater treatment plant but must be clean and not contain any metal, garbage or other foreign material.
The hours for accepting trash and yard waste will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Stark noted York Crushing, located on Apple Avenue near the wastewater plant, will be accepting metal and appliances at no charge during the cleanup weekend.
