Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce honors top scholars

The Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce honored 50 of the top academic scholars at Coeur d'Alene and Lake City High Schools, Project Bridge Academy, Kootenai Bridge and Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy on April 10 during the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce's popular Upbeat Breakfast.

Businesses helped sponsor a student and accompanied them during the Scholars Upbeat Breakfast.

During the recognition breakfast, students and parents had the opportunity to meet with business community leaders, hear from an inspirational speaker and be recognized as top scholars in Coeur d'Alene schools.

The Coeur d'Alene Chamber's Education Committee gave away three $500 scholarships, sponsored by local businesses and by the Coeur d'Alene Mines Educational Excellence Scholarship. School District 271 sponsored the Upbeat Breakfast.
